Careers at Connection Counseling

Do meaningful work.Grow with us.

Connection Counseling is a growing relationship-focused therapy practice serving individuals and couples across Long Island and New York.

We're building a practice where excellent therapists can focus on what they do best: helping people create healthier relationships and more connected lives.

Two professional women in conversation about joining a therapy practice

Why join us

A private practice built around good therapy.

Connection Counseling is being built intentionally. The aim is a practice where clinicians can do serious, careful clinical work inside a structure that actually supports it — where the systems, the referrals, and the operational weight of private practice don't sit on the therapist's desk.

That means fewer distractions from the work itself, colleagues who take relational therapy seriously, and a practice growing at a pace that keeps quality intact.

Meaningful Caseloads

Work with clients actively seeking support with relationships, attachment, marriage, life transitions, emotional health, and personal growth.

Practice Support

Connection Counseling handles the infrastructure that allows clinicians to spend more of their energy doing clinical work.

Professional Growth

Join a practice committed to continuing education, thoughtful clinical development, collaboration, and evidence-informed therapy.

A Growing Practice

Connection Counseling is expanding. We're looking for clinicians interested not only in filling a position, but in growing alongside the practice.

The work

Relationships are at the center of what we do.

Most of what brings people to therapy is relational — the marriage that stopped feeling like a team, the pattern that repeats with every partner, the anxiety that lives in the space between two people. Connection Counseling is organized around that reality rather than treating it as one specialty among many.

Emotionally Focused Therapy and attachment-based work are important influences in the practice, and they shape how we think and talk about cases together. They aren't a mandate: clinicians bring their own training and modalities, and the practice respects that individuality while sharing a common language around attachment and relational process.

Clinical conversation here tends to be about cycles, protective parts, emotional safety, and repair — not just symptom lists.

The fit

You might feel at home here if…

You care deeply about relationships and human connection.

You value warmth and empathy without avoiding difficult conversations.

You're curious about attachment and relational patterns.

You take clinical excellence seriously.

You communicate reliably and professionally.

You want to continue developing as a clinician.

You appreciate autonomy but also value being part of a practice.

You want your work to feel meaningful.

The founder

Built by a therapist, for therapists.

Connection Counseling began as a place for people to understand themselves and their relationships more deeply.

As the practice grows, the goal isn't simply to see more clients. It's to build a thoughtful team of clinicians who care deeply about the quality of the work and the people sitting across from them.

The practice should grow without losing the warmth, humanity, and individual attention that made it successful in the first place.
